How it works
Engineered for the ice.
A clear, molded polycarbonate shell that sits over the top of your skate. Here’s what it does, what it covers, and what it doesn’t.
The shell takes the hit.
Pucks and sticks land on the top of the skate — the instep, the laces, the ankle. A Skate Fender puts a layer of injection-molded, high-grade, impact-resistant polycarbonate over those areas.
Its curved form is designed to deflect impacts and dissipate the energy across the shell, rather than letting it land on a single point on your foot. It’s light, streamlined, and straps on over the skates you already wear.
Two ways to cover the foot
Full Pro · Extended
Covers the vital areas of the foot: toe and forefoot, instep and laces, ankle.
Compact Pro · Targeted
Covers the vulnerable ankle and instep. Front strap under the lower laces, one rear ankle strap.

Compare the models
On in seconds. Off just as fast.
Both models attach with hook-and-loop straps. The Compact Pro uses a strap under the lower front laces and a single rear strap around the ankle — undo the rear strap and tip it forward to reach your laces. Many players just leave their Fenders on their skates, even in the bag.
