Every Skate Fenders model shares the same fit characteristics. Sizing is decided by skate boot size, width and style.
Small–Medium
Skate size 4/4.5 up to 8
Narrow to normal boot widths
Large
Skate size 8 and up
Normal to wide boot widths
The size-8 overlap
Size 8 appears in both ranges. Narrow boots generally point to Small–Medium, wide boots to Large. For a normal-width size 8, your skate’s model and boot style decide it — send us the model and we’ll confirm.
Width and boot style
Small–Medium is documented for narrow to normal boot widths and Large for normal to wide. If your skates are wide below size 8, or narrow above it, you’re between our documented ranges — contact us before ordering.
Skate size, not shoe size
Use the size printed on your skate’s tongue or boot. Hockey skates are usually sized smaller than shoes.
Below size 4
That’s smaller than our documented range. Send us the skate brand and model and we’ll tell you honestly whether a pair will fit.
