Details

The Compact Pro is built for players who prefer not to wear the full-coverage model but still want protection from puck and stick impacts on the vulnerable ankle and instep areas.

It uses the same durable, lightweight, high-grade polycarbonate as the Full Pro and is engineered the same way: to protect the foot by deflecting and dissipating impact energy.

A strap slides under the lower front laces and a single rear strap wraps the ankle. To reach your laces, undo the rear strap and tip the Fender forward. Many players simply leave their Fenders on their skates, even in the equipment bag.

Sizing

Skate size (not shoe size). Small–Medium fits skate sizes 4/4.5 up to 8 in narrow to normal widths. Large fits size 8 and up in normal to wide widths. Size 8 is the overlap — skate model and boot style decide it.

Installation

  1. Lace and tie your skates as usual.
  2. Slide the front strap under the lower front laces.
  3. Set the shell over the ankle and instep, then wrap the single rear strap around the ankle and fasten it.
  4. Need your laces? Undo the rear strap and tip the Fender forward. Many players leave their Fenders on their skates between games.

Warranty

60-day limited warranty from the date of purchase: a one-time replacement of the polycarbonate shell if it breaks due to a manufacturing defect. Proof of purchase and evidence of the defect are required. Don’t use adhesives, paints, solvents or other chemicals on the shell — they void the warranty.
